President Dora Chen

Hi all! My name is Dora Chen and I'm super honored to be your SBC president this year! As the student body president, I will be in charge of planning major school events and representing the entire student body. In my free time (which I don't really have), you'll see me hanging out with friends, reading mangas, binge-watching dance videos on Youtube, or sleeping in. Outside of SBC, I'm also the President of the Lowell Forensic Society (aka Speech and Debate) so feel free to reach out if you are ever interested in joining! My biggest goal this year is to make Lowell as fun and enjoyable as it can be through rallies, dances, club fests, and more. I'm constantly listening to student opinions on past events and I'd love to hear any type of feedback or suggestions you may have so feel free to reach out through email!

Vice President Kaiden Nguyen

Hello hello everyone! My name is Kaiden and I'm thrilled to serve as your SBC Vice President this year. Super excited to work with students from across all grades this year and getting that much closer with the community at Lowell! I’ll be involved with and overseeing the planning of school-wide events for you all. Two things I’d like to emphasize for our events this year are efficiency and equitability. My overall focus is to strive for the best, making improvements from years prior and learning from any mistakes throughout these 2 semesters. Let’s make this year one to remember! Elections Commissioner Mandy Yeung

Hi everyone! I'm Mandy, and I'm looking forward to serving Lowell this year as SBC Elections Commissioner. I run elections for each board and SBC, and I represent the freshmen board in the fall. This year, I aim to lead a smooth admissions process and work to expand my outreach to all students and potential candidates at Lowell. With SBC, you can also find me running around with my dragon boat team at school or Lake Merced. I also love listening to music and finding new TV shows/movies to watch- recommend me some of your faves! My favorite way to de-stress is by baking, but I also love trying new recipes. Hello everyone! You guys can call me Madeline or Maddie! :) I am super excited to serve as your Student Body Secretary this year! Outside of LSA, you guys might know me from volleyball, Song, or KOEX. I love dancing, drawing and painting, graphic design, listening to music, traveling, going to concerts, desserts, watching K-dramas and anime, Sailor Moon, Sanrio, and anything cute and sparkly.

Treasurer Janice Lau

Hello everyone! I’m Janice Lau, and I’m excited to be your SBC Treasurer for this last year I am here at Lowell! From being LSA 2025 Treasurer for two years, I will be managing all money related things, overseeing club bank accounts, approving fundraisers, and taking part in planning and allocating materials for our fun school-wide events :)

Aside from school, you will find me binge-watching horror movies, on a call with my friends, playing with my two dogs, or even traveling during the long weekend!

Community Liaison Annie Mai

Hey Lowell! I'm Annie Mai, your spirited candidate for Community Liaison. As we approach a new year, I'm thrilled to serve our community through creative ideas and initiatives. Over the past three years, I've passionately advocated for students, serving on the SFUSD Health Advisory Board, providing a crucial student voice as a Lowell Youth Outreach Worker, and guiding new students as a Transfer Peer Mentoring Project Leader. Beyond campus, I am also the Executive Director of a Youth for San Francisco- a non-profit focused on political awareness. I am also a dedicated member of the NorCal Teen Advisory Board within Bring Change to Mind, improving mental health access nationwide.

Co-Community Liaison Emily Gorodetskiy

Hi everyone! I’m Emily, and I’m excited to serve as your SBC Co-Community Liaison this school year! Along with Annie, I’ll be representing you at PTSA, Student Site Council, and Student Advisory Council meetings, advocating on behalf of Lowell Student Government and our student body. You’ll often find me involved in Mock Trial, YEA, or Model UN, and I also enjoy learning new dance choreography. This year, my goal is to maintain open, transparent communication between all committees and boards to foster collaboration and ensure equitable decisions that reflect the values of our students. Club Coordinator Shirley Tran 

Hi I’m Shirley Tran, and I’ll be your Club Coordinator this year! I oversee all the amazing clubs we have here at Lowell, help register new clubs, and organize school events such as Club Fair, 8th Grade Night, Fall Fest, and Winterfaire. I am super excited to work with you all and have a great school year! Outside of SBC, I am the President of the Vietnamese Student Association, Junkyard Literary Magazine, and Philosophy Club, as well as a Project Leader for Peer Mentoring. In my rare free time, I enjoy building Legos, baking, and rewatching Star Wars or Harry Potter movies for the millionth time. Events Coordinator Danah Aroonchaipirom

Yo ho, This is Danah Aroonchaipirom, your Lowell Events Coordinator. You might see me around the hallways at school, but you'll definitely see me out on the field during rallies. As Events Coordinator, I will organize events such as your seasonal festivals and the school rally. I look forward to your participation and, most importantly, your spirit at the rally and around the school. I'm a filmmaker, producer, and actor who loves to go out and spend my free time outside and recording vlogs of me and my friends.
