To me, being a historian means not only preserving your favorite memories, but also creating an environment where new memories can be formed. Freshman year is filled with exciting events like dances, mixers, and fairs, and it's crucial that these moments are accessible and enjoyable for all students!
This is why I’m committed to enhancing the overall experience and memorability of school events. I am passionate about photography, and have experience using a variety of cameras to capture action, portrait, and landscape shots. Additionally, I'll work tirelessly to ensure that these events are nothing short of extraordinary! Together, let's create lasting memories and make every second of Freshman year a remarkable one. Hi Cardinals! My name is Jacqueline To and this year I am running for the LSA historian position. I firmly believe that my set of skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for this position. Ever since quarantine, I have honed my skills in digital editing and design through the proficient use of apps such as Canva and ibisPaint X. I have also used those two applications to help design my school’s yearbook in middle school. Additionally, I have also served my school’s student council for 2 years as one of my classes' representatives. Furthermore, I am an avid mobile photographer who particularly enjoys taking pictures of skies.
