2027 President Candidates
Riley Chon
Hello! I'm Riley Chon, and I'm excited to run for president of the Lowell 27 board. With years of experience in student council, as track team captain, and delivering our Middle School valedictorian speech, I've learned the value of leadership and communication.
I firmly believe that this position isn't about power, but rather about being a dedicated advocate/spokesperson for our class. Rather than one person absorbing all influence, its important for the President to distribute that voice to everyone, so that all students are seen and have their voices amplified. My goal is simple: represent the our class effectively, ensuring that every student's concerns are not only heard but also addressed. I am dedicated to building inclusivity and amplifying student voices. With your support, I'll put my experience and passion to work, making our school experience even better. Remember to ‘Vote Riley Chon, a leader you can count on’! |

Candice Wei
My name is Candice Wei, I am in 9th grade, and I’m running for Class President of 2027. I have experience in council for two years, and every month I do over two hours of community service that continues for two years. These experiences make me both experienced and patient as a person. If I get the role of Class President, I will bring these qualities to work and try my best to help my fellow classmates. I would also consider myself an active speaker and a good listener, and I am willing to support anyone who asks help from me. I promise to do my best if I get this role, and I would be super honored if any of you chose to vote for me! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Chiara Andrichak
Hello Class of 2027! My name is Chiara Andrichak, and I am running to be your LSA 2027 President. As we settle into a new normal, our class needs a student who will embody the principles of Lowell and provide stable leadership in the coming months. With four years of student government experience, among many other accomplishments, I believe that my background can help us achieve that. Freshman year is the start of a journey, and I’m the candidate to make it the strongest start possible. I can connect you with the resources you’ll need to succeed and programs to help you thrive. However, highschool is also the place to build relationships, and I look forward to organizing events that will establish community in our class. I am running to be your president not for popularity, but because it’s my passion to lead. Vote Chiara for LSA 2027 President!
Celine Chen
Hi! My name is Celine Chen, and I am running to be your future LSA President. You may know me from classes or see me around the hallways. I want to make highschool enjoyable for us freshmans considering it is a big change for the majority of our grade. Despite not being president (we didn’t have positions) last year for my student council, I was still in the student council and have plenty of experience in leading activities and larger projects. I volunteer a lot, especially working on leadership projects such as leading children, or hosting an event. I would say it is very vital to be really social if you are running for president, and that is exactly what I am. I am someone you can talk to anytime for anything, and I always support others opinions, you can count on me to lead a great freshman year.
Jonathan Yang
Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan Yang and I am running to be your next LSA President. This isn’t my first time taking such an important role like this. Some might remember me from APG where I was previously Class President in the sixth and seventh grades. Later, I was elected as Student Body President in eighth grade where I led Student Council meetings. With the experience that I have in leadership, I will be able to efficiently facilitate class board meetings with fellow class board members. To add to that, I am currently holding a leadership role in my Boy Scout troop. This role taught me a lot about organization which can be brought on to coordinating class events. As president this year, I will bring you the best transition into high school with many Freshman exclusive events to become better than the upperclassmen. Vote Jonathan for LSA president!
