Hello there! My name is Wallace Tang, and I’m running to be your LSA 2023 Historian. As we’re slowly transitioning from online learning back to in-person school, I want to make sure that students’ needs are being supported throughout the entire process and beyond; prioritizing equity, mental health, and emotional wellbeing. When problems or issues arise, I will speak up, lift student voices, and hold our administration accountable.
I’ve organized and coordinated school-wide events, student-government leadership summits, even a 75ft banner drop about the urgency of climate change. I’ve worked closely with teachers, admin, and students to collect feedback about school changes, presented at workshops and panels about youth advocacy, and talked to adults about why our youth voices are just as important and valid as theirs.
