SBC Club Coordinator Candidates
Hi everyone, my name is Denton, and I want to be your Club Coordinator. I tried to start a club my Sophomore year but failed because of too many documents to fill out in so little time. I pleaded for an extension, and their response was “better luck next semester”. This should not happen again.
I want to give support to new or small clubs, while continuing to help big clubs, to allow clubs to start meeting mid-semester, to let people trying to start a club to advertise, and to set up a system to help students find clubs. I want to make it so new clubs do not have to ask for random students’ signatures, and an easier process with more time to register to start meeting.
I have been both a club member and club leader, such as Vice President of Bike Club, and I have learned the importance of clubs. They need more support from club coordinators. If you want to ask any questions, or just want to talk in general, feel free to reach out.
Hello hello! My name is Jasmine and I’m running to be your SBC Club Coordinator. During my time at Lowell I have accumulated leadership experience in numerous roles such as Key Club’s President, Secretary (formerly) and Public Relations Committee Member, 2022 Escape/WBD’s Treasurer, and Breakers’ Alliance’s Vice President. Through these different experiences, I’ve come to grow as a leader, and I’ve found student organizations to be a vital part of my life, similarly to that of a second family. In my final year at Lowell, I would like to give back to this community by serving the clubs that have given me so much.
As Club Coordinator, I will release information and check-ins in a timely manner and work with other boards to bring more fundraising and promotional opportunities to clubs. I fully understand the importance of management and communication between club boards and I promise to keep everyone on the same page with transparency. I’m always willing to help clubs with starting up or adapting to online circumstances, especially because I understand how difficult things may be right now. Feel free to contact me @j.baao on Instagram with any questions, thank you for your time and consideration!
Hi everyone! I’m Matthew and I’m running to be your SBC Club Coordinator! I am a soon-to-be junior at Lowell and I am hoping to bring a unique perspective to the SBC board. With many previous leadership positions like being a former LSA president of my class and leading a few out-of-school organizations, I’ve proven my leadership skill and shown I have what it takes to be a leader. Through this position, I hope to make club activities and procedures efficient for everyone in the community, and I hope to make events like Co-Curricular a fun experience for everyone. I hope to be a positive factor in the SBC board, providing my input when necessary to make sure decisions made by the board are in the student body’s best interest.
Although the role of Club Coordinator may not seem as vital as other positions, I will make sure that I’m a strong advocate for the Lowell community and that I work with the rest of the board to address vital issues and make the school year enjoyable for everyone. Don’t hesitate to reach out via Instagram @matthwchen, and I’m excited to hopefully see everyone back at school!
Hello Lowellites, my name is Riley and I’m running to be your SBC Club Coordinator! Clubs have always been an important part of my high school experience where I could share my interests with others. During my time at Lowell, I’ve committed myself to ensuring students have resources they need with my participation in CSF, the Special Elections Committee, and as Shield and Scroll Junior Secretary. This year, I want to amplify your voices to strengthen our club community. With restrictions slowly lifting, I’d make organizing an equitable and transparent transition to in-person meetings that is safe a primary concern. Having been a founding member of Lowell MSA, I also plan to display the cultural diversity we currently have to emphasize a welcoming environment by helping organize more club organized events. Overall, I want to guarantee everyone has a say in club operations this coming year regardless if you are just a member or you lead a club. It’s difficult to predict when we’ll all be in the classroom again, but I want to work with YOU to make your year in clubs the best possible so vote Riley for Club Coordinator.

Hi everyone! My name is Isabella but I go by Bella and I am running to be your next SBC Club Coordinator! At Lowell, I am a part of the varsity Model United Nations team, as well as the founder and president of Penpal Club. As a club president, I must be organized and use a variety of administrative skills that I can apply to the role of club coordinator. If I am elected as club coordinator, I want to make sure that the steps for club creation are crystal clear to minimize confusion and be available to help those wishing to start a club. However, I also want to support existing clubs by opening up channels for easy, quick, and effective communication.
As club coordinator, I will make sure ALL clubs at Lowell, including cultural clubs, are represented. Furthermore, I want to work in tandem with Lowell's cultural clubs to create a fun, inclusive multicultural night. My commitment to creating engaging events goes beyond just cultural clubs, though. If elected, I will make sure every club fair we have is fresh and exciting! If you want exciting events, transparency, and effective communication. Vote Isabella Liu for Club Coordinator.
