Lowell Wellness Center

The Lowell Wellness Team misses you! We miss having you drop in to say hi, checking in while you grab some tea or heat up your food, and seeing you shine in the classroom, on the field, and in the auditorium.

We are experiencing a global pandemic that has changed all of our worlds dramatically and caused tremendous loss and stress in our communities. People and communities are rising up and using their voices to bring to light the injustices that the Black community, Indigenous communities, and other communities of color have been experiencing for generations.

You may be feeling overwhelmed and hurt, or maybe motivated and hungry for change. Whatever you are experiencing, we are here to empower and support you in caring for yourself, finding and using your voice, and feeling safe to grow both as individuals and community members in our changing world.

A Note from Our Wellness Coordinator:

Hi! My name is Carol and I am the Wellness Coordinator at Lowell High School. The Wellness Program is here to support you during your high school years. Being a teenager can be tough, but finding acceptance, support, and resources doesn't have to be!  Wellness services are free, non-judgmental, and confidential. Our team is made up of a social worker, a nurse, a community health outreach worker, and mental health professionals to holistically support your social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Wellness offers:
  1. Therapy: Someone who will listen without judgement
  2. Groups: Meet with other students to make friends, learn new skills , and build community
  3. Advocacy: Help talking to the other adults in my life
  4. Resources: Links to support for basic needs, internships, and teen-focused programs.

Let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns and I'll be happy to help as best as I can.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
