MEET THE MEMBERS
President Uma Krishnaswamy
Hello, my name is Uma Krishnaswamy, and I'm 2018 Class President. My interests and hobbies tend to change year-to-year, but what hasn't changed is my love for tacos and student government. We as a board hope to host fun and memorable events for your last year here at Lowell. Senior boat, Senior Sunrise, Prom, Picnic, Senior Sunset Grad Nite, and more!
Anyway a little about myself:
This is my fourth year on LSA, which is a little crazy to think about, but I'll just accept it until the bittersweet graduation tears spill from my lower eyelid. I enjoy beaches, graphic socks, and crossword puzzles. If you see me in the halls or sitting in a corner of the courtyard, don't be afraid to say hi! You can also contact me at email@example.com (I reply to email faster than you'd expect).
Hope you all have a fun year!
Vice President Jaden Jamel-Schneider
Hey everyone! My name is Jaden and I am the Senior class Vice President. Outside of LSA, I am on the Lowell Mock Trial team (email me with any questions about that also) as well as the Lowell Model UN team, and I used to captain the Parliamentary Debate team. I'm excited to participate in Lowell's governing body and make our senior year memorable. I can't think of too many fun, quirky things about myself, but I attended Alice Fong Yu for 9 years so I speak Cantonese and Mandarin (你好!). I have an older sibling who was also in LSA (Mica JS, 2014 Treasurer), so I guess you could say it runs in the family. Anyways, feel free to email/text/message (jsjaden11@gmail) me with any questions about (or not about) LSA and I'll be happy to chat.
Secretary Olivia Gon
Stationery enthusiast. Broadway baby. 20% Fish. 100% Awkward.
Hi friends! I’m so excited to be back on 2018 Board as Secretary!
My job is to make sure our board is organized and prepared so we can be as efficient as possible and serve you guys the best, as well as work with the whole board to make Senior year amazing! This year our board will be organizing Senior Boat, Pop Polls, Senior Picnic, Grad Nite and so many other exciting events and activities to make our last year here at Lowell memorable.
If you have any questions, suggestions, are ever in need of markers to borrow, or a buddy to belt showtunes with, feel free to say hi in the halls, (I won’t bite I promise), and/or message me on Facebook.
*I’m also often found hibernating in the cave, sitting in a corner somewhere doodling (or singing Les Mis) and practicing with the Water Polo team up in the 4th Floor Pool. <3
Treasurer Monica Cao
Hey everyone!! My name is Monica Cao but you can call me momo or mon for short. I'm super duper excited to be your LSA 2018 Treasurer. I will keep my promise and do superior Cao-culations. I look forward to working with my board to ensure that every aspect of senior year is truly memorable. If you ever have any suggestions or if you just want to talk, feel free to come up to me. You can typically find me somewhere around Lowell(I have a cute elephant keychain on my backpack), at a boba shop, or you can simply contact me with the information listed below. Together, we will make senior year a blast!!
Public Relations Khianna Byrne
Heyy guys. I’m Khianna, your fun & freckle-faced artist, coffee enthusiast, Star Wars geek, and (more recently) 2018 Senior Board Public Relations! *crowd goes slightly wild* Let me just say that I’m extremely excited to be on LSA this year, continuing my job as PR. I’m all about art, so watch out for those fab posters, tickets, and other artsy stuff you see around school made by yours truly! If you have any ideas, questions, or just want to be friends, don’t hesitate to come find me (I swear I don’t bite). Have an amazing fun-filled year! (and may the force be with you, always) ;D
Historian Jessica Chang
Hello!! I'm Jessica, your Class of 2018 Historian!! As historian, I capture moments at dances, rallies, and many other school events. I really enjoy taking pictures and making videos, so I'm super excited for this year. I'm here if you ever have any questions or just want to hang out! Don't be afraid to say hi in the halls!
