WHO WE ARE
The SAC is a citywide, youth-led organization that is committed to providing a voice for the students of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) by representing and presenting the interests of the students to the administrative and policy making bodies of the SFUSD.
Each school can have 2-3 representatives on the SAC. In addition to the representatives, there are two Student Delegates who sit in the Board of Education as advisors about the opinions of the students. The SAC works at its best when each school is represented and when the representatives can learn what their fellow students care about.

Meet the 2015-2016 Reps
Iris Morrell
Hello everyone! I’m Iris Morrell, a sophomore and one of your 2015-16 SAC representatives! My job on SAC is to represent YOU and your interests to the Board of Education. Education is something I care very much about, and you can approach me at any time to discuss what you want to happen at in SFUSD! When I’m not worrying about the state of our schools, I’m usually debating at Lowell’s Parli practice, arguing with somebody about the environment, or taking care of pigeons at a wildlife rehab center. I’m looking forward to a great year working with you all! You can contact me by email at [email protected] |
Raymond Fong
Hey! I’m Raymond Fong, a senior at Lowell High. I love this city and my school (Is it weird that I like going to school?). As a Lowell SAC representative for this academic year, my goal is to help you enjoy your school experience as much as possible; so talk to me for anything you might want changed! Beyond that, I abide my time with frisbee, cooking, baking, math, and physics. Don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected]. And as always, keep being an awesome unicorn! |
Jessica Eng
My name is Jessica Eng: current junior, current SBC Community Liaison. This is also my second term on the SAC. In all honesty, I love what this council stands for. Because of the SAC, I have seen the importance of the youth voice, especially in areas that impact youth the most. I am an early advocate for the Vote16 Movement and supporter of youth initiatives within the SFUSD school district. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]! |
