Hi Lowell! We are EmpowerHer, a club that originates from the global organization GLI (Girls Learn International). We take part in raising awareness about world events specifically regarding women’s health and education. In addition, we fundraise for projects having to do with our partner school across the world (last year's being in Nepal). In our meetings (every other week), we discuss new topics through interactive activities, videos and inspirational movies to educate ourselves. Here at Lowell, we take part in club events such as WinterFair, SASHA events, and more. Our club gives an opportunity to learn about others and most importantly learn how to bring awareness to the voices throughout the world that can’t be heard yet. ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome to join! We hold our meetings every other Thursday in room 336 at 3:45pm after school.
