Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. As a part of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. We host and participate in service events throughout the entire year and even have large-scale events such as Fall Rally North and District Convention, where we celebrate all our work with a trip to Six Flags and a convention where we meet Key Clubbers from all over Cali-Nev-Ha. Within Key Club, there are many leadership, recognition, and scholarship opportunities. We perform acts of service in our communities, such as cleaning up parks, helping out at marathons, and volunteering at festivals. We learn and practice leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels. Although we are a part of an international organization, we also are part of a smaller tight knit community. Our district spans across three states: California, Nevada, and Hawaii (shortened Cali-Nev-Ha). Within this district are regions and we belong to Region 17. Our division contains: Lowell, Saint Ignatius, Aragon, El Camino, Burlingame, South San Francisco, Carlmont, Mills, Westmoor, and Sequoia. Our division mascot is the Aqua Ape! Key Club is a growing organization with global reach. With 1000s of clubs in more than 38 countries, the impact of Key Club members can be felt all over the world :) Core Values Leadership » Leadership is grounded in humility and service to others. A true leader listens, recognizes, and empowers. Character building » Character is built by everyday acts of kindness, integrity and teamwork to grow stronger relationships and communities. Caring » Compassion for others is a cornerstone of the Key Club experience, inspiring action and service to one’s community.
