We are the Leaders in Youth Leadership Development.
Heart in Motion is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides leadership and volunteering opportunities to students from the SF Bay Area. In this club, we bond with other students and build connections though engaging activities. We also promote upcoming volunteering events and provide information on our internship program, where members will learn how to run a non-profit organization, as well as learn about the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), which is an award from the President that only certifying organizations are able to offer.
- Heart in Motion was founded in 2010. Since then, over 3200 students have been part of Heart in Motion!
- Heart in Motion brings youth together, encouraging neighborhood activism and commitment to community service.
- Members come from various schools, joining forces to benefit their neighborhoods.
- Our members can be rewarded with the prestigious, nationally recognized President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)!
- We support local nonprofits, neighborhood fairs, and athletic events that shine a positive light in our community, allowing local and national charities to get the funding they need.
- We offer a Leadership Program, which offers interns and officers the opportunity to develop new skills in managing a non-profit, developing character, becoming familiarized with useful applications for the future, time management, various responsibility skills, and much more!
- Interns and officers learn what it takes to be successful in their lives and how to make a positive impact, not only in their communities, but in the world!
