Hi future runners! We are running club, a space for people of all athletic abilities to come together and run together. We say run, but our meetings often have fast paced walks, slow jogs, and stretching, too. Anything that gets the body moving! We especially want to invite “non-runners”, or people who are wanting to start doing cardio activities but don’t know where to begin. Our meetings generally consist of jogs and conversations about what’s going on in our lives, because it’s important for us to strengthen our mental wellness, too. We aim for realistic fitness goals, like running group 5ks (Hot Chocolate Run, anyone?) as well as continuous runs along Lake Merced. Attendance is not required for every meeting, but we strongly recommend showing up when you can. Meeting times are TBD, but follow us on IG (@lowellrunningclub) for updates!
