Article VI. Section IV. of the Charter of the Lowell Student Association: “Lowell students are guaranteed the right to vote for their student representatives without any monetary or grade requirements.”
In order to be elected to the LSA 2027 class board, candidates must earn 50% of the votes + 1 vote. Rank choice voting was used to calculate the results. First choice votes were totaled, then the candidate with the least amount of first choice votes was eliminated. The voters who ranked the eliminated candidate as first choice would have their votes redistributed to their second choice, and so on until a candidate has reached 50% of the votes + 1 vote.
Congratulations to all the candidates for running in the election. The elected officers are denoted by yellow highlight and bold font.
