Welcome to the Marine Biology Club! Here, fascinating and bizarre sea creatures, as well as the environments they live in, are discussed in depth. Environmental issues, whether they be global warming, ocean acidification, or pollution, are also discussed, with emphasis on their causes and effects. Club members will have the opportunity to choose an interesting topic related to marine biology and conduct research, which they will then present in the form of informational and graphical slide decks. The Marine Biology Club also seeks to provide hands-on knowledge through field trips to and cleanups at local beaches, where members can truly connect with and gain a sense of stewardship for the ocean! Our meetings are held every Tuesday at 3:45 in room 263. Come take a deep dive with us!
