Hello all! We are Lowell's Sunrise Club, a part of the national Sunrise Movement (sunrisemovement.org). As a smaller part of the larger whole, we work towards Sunrise's goals of making climate change an urgent priority across America, ending the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and electing leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people. We accomplish this through planning actions, endorsing and supporting candidates and bills in local and national elections, and joining actions of other organizations. Whether you are new to activism and are concerned about the devastating effects of climate change, or are an experienced organizer, we look forward to seeing you at our meetings and actions!
