Hey Lowell! We're Ate Club, a school baking club. Our goals are to teach members (and our own officers) new baking skills, to spend time exploring different cuisines and types of food, and to continue to grow the food-loving community here at Lowell. We're a little more unique than your ordinary baking club. At Lowell Ate Club, each meeting day will be based on a theme (ex: Toy Story themed). We'll bake food together as a club, based on our theme that day (ex: baking cowboy cookies for Woody from Toy Story). Members will be made aware of the theme ahead of time, so if you'd like, you can make something relative to the theme on your own at home or with friends, and bring it to the club meeting for everyone else to enjoy! We highly encourage you to bring your own treats for all of us to try out! In addition to baking, we'll also be playing games, watching a movie, or participating in other fun activities related to our theme that day. We'll also be holding fundraisers to raise money for the club, but also to bond with one another through baking. Meetings are held every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, at 2:40 in room 70 (the choir room). Anyone can join, anytime! Feel free to pop into our room and say hello. We're so excited to have you all and can't wait to meet and every one of you!
