Hi Lowell Students! We are Lowell P.A.I.R Club, or Partners Against Institutionalized Racism. P.A.I.R.'s mission statement is to support, educate, and empower high school youth about racism, and the role they can play to become an agent of change. P.A.I.R. focuses on uniting ALL students of different racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds to bring about equity, racial change, and diverse representation within our society and schools. We strive to be a safe and supportive space for Lowell students to express thoughts, feelings, and ideas regarding racism in the current world by having group discussions, watching movies, and celebrating each other's cultures. P.A.I.R. also has weekly presentations about race and hosts guest speakers to present on race-related topics every couple weeks. We meet every other Friday from 3:15pm-4:15pm, and our zoom link is tinyurl.com/pairzoomlink. If you are interested in social justice, uplifting others, fighting for change, or simply just want to educate yourself on important topics, our club is for you!
