Hello Cardinals! We are the Fermentation Club! Throughout the year, we will focus on the development of cultures in food and how it positively affects our lifestyles. In the fall, we will ease into projects by starting with the pickling of vegetables and fruit. We will have plenty of fun tastings and silly bonding times! Not to mention, the pickles will have a lot of bonding time too ;). This club is open to everyone, and by the end of the school year, all its members will be very cultured (heavy pun there). During the Spring semester, we will dive into more complex projects such as kombucha, developing sourdough starters, and beyond! Fermentation club will meet up every week to every other week, depending on what our current projects are. Don’t forget to catch us on Mondays after school in room S205!
