Hello, Lowell students! We are The Junkyard, Lowell’s literary magazine! 

Each year, we publish a collection of students’ artwork, including poetry, prose, and visual art. Throughout the fall semester, we work on our own pieces for the magazine and promote submissions from the greater Lowell community. Then, in the spring semester, we judge the submissions we receive, format the magazine, edit the magazine, and finally, we distribute the magazine to the Lowell community! 

If you join the staff of The Junkyard, not only will your pieces be automatically included in the magazine, but you will also explore different genres of writing and art, receive optional feedback about your work, and join a creative and vibrant community of artists!
