JUNIOR PROM GOALS                                                                                                                   7/8/13

The committee’s ultimate goal is to reduce ticket prices so that everyone is able to attend prom with their friends. Our fundraising goal until the actual date of Junior Prom is roughly $3,000, fundraising about $200 each month. With that amount of money, we can reduce the prices of tickets, making prom more affordable. Because Junior Prom is one of the largest dances of the year, we want to ensure that people who are experiencing financial issues are able to attend this major event.

Our goal during the year of 2013 is to finalize major aspects of prom, such a venue and a theme, and also to fundraise as much as we can. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose information about venues yet but please anticipate exciting news in April of 2014! We will also figure out decorations, DJ’s, and other small details. If you have any suggestions about themes, decorations, food, fundraising, and whatnot, feel free to contact our committee at 2015lhsjuniorprom@gmail.com with your full name and registry! We’re looking forward to see you at prom!

2015 JUNIOR PROM MEMBERS

Izabel Jusino

Hi, my name's Izabel Jusino and I am part of Lowell's class of 2015 Junior Prom committee. My goal along with the other ladies in our committee is create a night that we can all enjoy and remember. Personally I've been thinking about how prom would be like since I was little, so I couldn't be happier when I was selected to apart if this group. This has also become a learning experience for me as well, from fundraisers to visiting to venues and working as group in making the right decisions. I just hope everyone will be as excited as I am when prom comes around this following year. :)

Hola, amigos! I’m Jocelyn, and I’m super excited for Junior Prom! I mean, who isn’t? I’m not excited just because I’m planning the actual prom, but I’m also excited because I can’t wait to see the smiles of people’s faces after they leave prom. Can’t you imagine it already? A beautiful venue, classy attire, delicious cuisine, lively dancing, and elegant photography. Just thinking about it gives me chills. Good chills. Chills that make me want to jump with joy! I'm so enthusiastic about prom, and I just can't hide it! I’m looking forward to see everyone at Junior Prom!

Albright Nguyen

Hi, I am an upcoming junior and I'm involved in a couple of activities such as Best Buddies, Lowell Dragonboat, choir and the 2015 Junior Prom Committee. In my free time, I like to listen to music and read. I joined the junior prom committee because I like to fundraise and help plan events. I also want to make this year's upcoming junior prom a fun and memorable event that'll encourage people to go to senior prom too.

Junior! Mr.Fahey's REG:1506
1)
Why I joined the committee?
When you think of Shaylene Liao, you'd definitely think of her being on the prom committee. She's social, outgoing, and a real people person. Loves to work fundraising events where she gets to embarrass herself and the other committee members. Loud and proud to raise money for the perfect, no joke, the PERFECT prom.

2) Things I will work on to have at prom:
BUBBLES!!! A cotton candy machine :D The security guards and faculty to dress according to theme, more photobooths so shorter lines. Chocolate fountains!
3)My worst fears are...
frogs... soggy cereal... the drop when you ride a roller coaster... Dean Cordoba.... an anything less than perfect prom...heartbreaks... people who don't like Shaylene even when she didn't do anything to them...Peter Pan... ghosts...disappointing my daddy
4)Nicknames I am called,
SHAY!!! ShayBayBay, Whatscoochie, My wittle dumpling (< that's what Julia calls me), ugly ( I don't prefer this one)
5)Random Facts:
-my middle name is Mulan related,
-I love mayonnaise, and cream cheese but not together
-My dad's name is Harry
-Snoogie, is my german shepherd's name
-Taylor Swift, yeah I don't like her
-I eat tomatoes like apples,

Hi my name is Olivia Kanes and I am a member of the 2015 Junior Prom Committee! I love being involved in Lowell life, which one could guess since I am a member of the cheerleading squad and Make a Difference Club. The committee and I are working hard to make sure the 2015 class and its guests have the best possible prom night, and make it an amazing and memorable event for everyone attending! Look forward to a great evening with your classmates and friends!
