Student Body Council (SBC)
MEET THE MEMBERS
Jonathan Chu // President
Hello! I'm so excited and honored to be your SBC President this year! I still can't believe that I'm a senior; my time as a student at Lowell has been so fun and fulfilling that the time has really flown by. In three years as Class President I've seen firsthand how unique, diverse and talented our student body is, and what an amazingly positive influence this has had on my own outlook and development. I hope we can continue building off of these strengths to create an even more welcoming and understanding atmosphere to ensure that all students from here and on out can experience the full warmth, support and pride of the Lowell community that's made my Lowell experience so great. Outside of school, I study classical violin and piano. I also like to speedcube (solve Rubik's cubes for speed) in my free time. Please don't be afraid to say hi in the halls =) Looking forward to an awesome year! |
Kian Mojabi // Vice President
Hey guys, my name’s Kian Mojabi and I’m your 2016-2017 SBC Vice President! This is my 2nd year on LSA, and I’m really excited to be given the opportunity again to help give back to the Lowell community, and really make this a memorable year. Some quick facts about me: I really like watching YouTube at home when I should probably be studying, usually watching Markiplier or A Sneaker Life. I really like sneakers, haha, except most of the time my friends say I have too many (which is false, you can never have too many shoes) I was also on Lowell Wrestling and Dragonboat for 3 years and like playing guitar in my free time. Lastly, I really, really love caffeine, and I sometimes even have 2 energy drinks for breakfast, but its ok because they say “Organic” on them so it must be healthy. Anyways, I really hope to make this an awesome year for you guys and don’t be afraid to say hi in the hallways or reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns! |

Michelle Lu // Club Coordinator
Hey there! I'm Michelle, 2016-2017 SBC Club coordinator. What you are about to read might be a little different from the rest, my story about entering Lowell High School. The beginning of my freshman year was by the far one of the weirdest experiences in my life. I did not feel like I belonged at Lowell. I thought it would be easier for my to survive high school by keeping to myself. Looking back at it now, I would have not be the person I am today if I had tried to hide from everybody. As the three years went by very quickly, I became very involved in the LowelI community. I wondered what I would of become if I chose to not be part of the Lowell. My perspective at Lowell began to change when I decided to join a club the first month of school. It felt weird in the beginning, not knowing anyone, and being one of the only newbies. But time went by very quickly and I began to feel more welcomed and bonded with myself and my community. I do not wish for any student here at Lowell to ever experience what I went through. To be part of SBC, it is our job to make our year at Lowell the best it could be for everyone. Clubs are super important to me and Lowell because it helps bring our community together, despite the fact there are over two thousand people! I want to make sure that I can continue to help clubs thrive and bring people together. Btw, I am always open to new ideas and feedback. Feel free to contact me at [email protected]. peace out |-/ |
