2016 Senior Class Board
Hello fellow Lowell-goers! The 2016 Board is so excited to serve our final year on LSA and we are looking forward to creating exciting events for you all to attend and participate in! As it’s our last year, of course one of our goals is to make our events fun and accessible to all. We want all the seniors to make many memories of their Lowell experience this year, and we want to help make them as positive as we can to combat the stresses that being a Lowell student often inevitably brings.
MEET THE MEMBERS
Kristina Schagane // President
My name is Kristina (aka tina, beans, schags, schagane, schagbags, kristy, becky, nonos, you name it) thank you for starting to read this! I’m excited to say that I’m the Senior Class President, (finally seniors, wtfff, how is this possible?!?!) and I’m so bloOooOody excited for this last year @ Lowell for the class of 2016. I am not sure how to introduce myself; I’m not very fascinating. But most of the time you can catch me at the California Academy of Sciences doing sciencey things, cause that’s my type of thing. I like learning about environmental and urban sustainability, I like mochas and reading at cafes, I like writing sometimes, I like my friends (most of time, shhh), I like gymnastics, I like student government, I like oitnb, and I like outdoor spaces where I can think. I’m in LSA because it’s a great community and because I’ve learned a lot about planning, leadership, working on a team, collaboration, and all that good stuff. I’m in LSA because it gives me a sense of responsibility and things I can work on (even if they may seem small), and because I wanted to develop my leadership role when I first heard about it in freshman year. I am incredibly grateful for the Class of 2016 for these past 3 years and thanks to the power of infinity for electing me this last time! later gators :^) |
Adil Truong // Vice President
HelloOoO! Welcome to my bio.. Err section of the website! Nice to meet you. My name is Adil Truong, Vice President of the 2016 Board. Might seem hard to pronounce but it's not really! So... I guess I'm supposed some things about me. Well, I'm a very nerdy and goofy person. I love video games and iPhone apps. I also play sports on school teams like football and track & field. I've spent 3 years of blood, sweat, and tears on these sports, and have so much respect for the people on them. I love to sing a lot. My family knows when I ride in the car with them. I am currently in advanced choir, where there's a big trip every spring semester to Anaheim or Chicago! I will definitely miss Lowell by the end of this year, but I hope to make my last moments cherished by others at the school. Let's have Gr8888 year! |
Carissa Ng // Secretary
Hello! I’m Carissa. I glad to say this is my fourth year as Class Secretary! (all those crazy notes though!!!) YAY LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL! (: Can’t wait to see what’s in store for all of us! I really enjoy being part of LSA: Not only can I give back to the school and expand my role as a leader, but I can also plan tons of fun events with my lovely board (Seniors keep an eye out for all the senior events- boat, prom, picnic, and grad night! AAAY!). Outside of LSA, I also like doing many other things! You can catch me running along the beach, playing the piano, volunteering at the hospital, and going on lotsa food adventures. My absolute favorite spot to hike around is Land’s End and I love boba- if you ever need to go on a boba run, let’s go (preferably, Sharetea)! I really like try new food places (yelp is the best!) and froyo & ice cream- Polly Ann’s green tea flavor please!! I’m super thankful for y’all for giving me the opportunity to serve on LSA all my years of high school! Let’s make this last year the most memorable one!(^ω^) |
Emily Chan // Treasurer
Katie Guan // Public Relations
Heyoooo, my name is Katie and this will be my second year serving the Class of 2016 and being a part of LSA as the Public Relations officer, so thank you for allowing me this opportunity to serve y’all again. Senior year is going to be a crazy roller coaster course for all of us and we'll make sure that this year will be one heck of an amazing ride! Besides from LSA I’m also a Global Ed officer of BuildOn and I’m a CIT for CYC’s MYEEP program so y’knowww a lot of things and huge events coming my way to take care of but I’m excited and ready for it. I’ve also been very involved in Spirit Committee these past years so as seniors this year, let’s make sure the Class of 2016 dominates the dance floor, hallways, Spirit Week, rallies, I’m talking everything man. Just a lil sum sum about me: things that amuse me would be food, boba, drawing, cats, dancing, volleyball, singing in Lowell’s choir, food, cake, good music, ranting, and juicy markers. I also like to describe things by levels of juiciness. Sooo yeah LET’S GO ‘16 SENIORS WHOOO YAHHHHMAAAAAAAN |
Kris Hui // Historian
Hey! I’m Kris, your senior board historian! I’m so excited to serve as a part of the board for my final year here at Lowell. I’m determined to capture key moments so that people can look back on all their good times spent at big events. After three years of being of historian, I can finally finish up my collection of photos from major events starting back at freshmen year. We’ve all come a long way and my pictures will continue to show that journey! Wanna know a little about me? Well, I love eating and trying new places, adventuring out to cool spots with interesting things see, and listening to my huge library of music (pop, rap, reggae, country, oldies, you name it). I love taking pictures wherever I go, because there is beauty in everything I come across in everyday life (that’s my creative side talking). Playing volleyball or going on a run or working out is my fuel. Boba is my weakness. Throwback songs are my life. And good company is my happiness. That’s all for now so you’ll have to get to know me to know more about me! |
