2019 Freshmen Class Board
MEET THE MEMBERS
Christopher Ying // President
Hi there, everyone! My name’s Chris and I’m the freshman president! I’m very excited to be working with you all this year to make sure that your first year at Lowell is the most memorable it can be. I’m assuming that you’re either on this website because you’re bored, or because you genuinely want to know more about the freshman board. Well, if you fall under category one, read on! I’m sure you’ll find something interesting. And if you fall under the second category, read on! It’s why you came here isn’t it? Anyways, I’m a very approachable person. If you see me in the hallways, don’t hesitate to say hi! I’d love to meet you. During the day, I’m often seen around the second floor in one of my classes. After school, you can find me either at debate, chess club, or the LSA room. Outside of school, if I’m not doing homework or LSA stuff, then I’m either sleeping, Skyping with friends (no Skype did not pay me to advertise), or playing some of the MLG Call of Duty rekkin’ nubs all day lez go 360 no-scope. jk lol I’m not that good. Let’s make a year that we can r8 8/8 m8 don’t be l8 don’t h8 or discrimin8. |
Clarisse Aruino // Vice President
AYE! My name is Clarisse Aruino, and I am sooooo excited to be your freshman class vice president this year! This won’t be my first year on student council, I’ve been involved in my school council for a couple of years now. It’s awesome to serve y’all this year and hopefully the years to come! A little bit about me: I loVE DARREN CRISS. PERIOD. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. jk. But, he’s a pretty big part of me. If you know me at all, you probably know that. I enjoy a lot of basic things like boba, spam musubi, spam, starbucks, yeah all that stuff. I love all types of music. I like Walk the Moon, Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, N’Sync, DRAKE, Bryson Tiller, Mariah Carey ;)), and such. I like talking, which is why theatre is a passion of mine, even though I’m not in Lowell theatre… YET. I like computers and coding and stuff (ikr? what a loser psh). I’ve got some great plans for us this year anD LET’S KEEP SAUCIN’ ON THEM OTHER CLASSES. |
Sabrina Lu // Secretary
Hey there!! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Sabrina Lu and I’m proudly serving your 2019 year as secretary! Some of my hobbies include playing piano and the violin. Trust me, I take music very very seriously.. like how I’ll be with LSA!! Expect weird hair colors on me (I’m working on it) and crazy rants about everything but don’t worry guys, I would say that I’m friendly to everyone I meet. Well moving on, I’m excited to raise spirit in Lowell and create everlasting memories through student council. This will be my first year in LSA I’m SO ready to collaborate new ideas with the other members! TBH, I never saw myself becoming a part of student council but Lowell’s environment really made an impact on me. This school is such a high-spirited and loving community, and I wanted to become a part of it right away. I chose to run for this position because I am interested in becoming involved and demonstrating my leadership skills to others. If you ever have any new ideas for our school year, come up to me and share it! I’m nice, guys!! I’m willing to bring new ideas into student council so make sure you notify one of the 2019 LSA members! We’re open to any new ideas no matter how crazy. |
Arlynne Policarpio // Treasurer
Hello, it’s me… I’ve been wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet… Haha jk Adele am I right? It’s me! Arlynne Policarpio the 2019 Treasurer! My responsibility is to handle the the money going in and out of the account. I am thrilled to be in LSA because I enjoy having school spirit and being able to connect with my fellow peers! I was also apart of 2019 Spirit committee (I painted all those cacti). Here are a few random facts about me, I watch doctor who and criminal minds! I love food. Adventures are the best! I always listen to music so if you have any suggestions please tell me! I can play the viola and kind of sing (not that great at either). I enjoy being involved with our school. I can not dance (catch me awkwardly dancing at our school dances). Please do not be afraid to come up to me and say hi or ask a question! Feel free to follow me on instagram and i’ll try to follow back! or to add me as a friend on facebook! I’m excited to meeting y’all! |
Kaye Chin // Public Relations
Hellooo everyone! My name is Kaye Chin and I’m your PR! My job is to communicate with the study body (COUGHYOUCOUGH) and to make bomb-ass advertisements like posters, fliers, etc! I’m so excited to be part of this year's LSA council because I just want to really become part of the school and connect with all of you guys! I’m a bit overly friendly so if you guys ever see me in the hallways or want someone to talk to, I am always here! You can probably find me during 4th block in the library probably hiding food from the librarian. My interests include drawing, smiling, eating, and running (xc). |
Meadow Gast // Historian
Hey friends :) I’m super excited for this year! I love taking pictures, photography has been one of my passions for awhile now. I can’t wait to see all the great things we do as a class this year, and be able to document them and all of you lovely people. I love meeting people and talking to all of you. If I haven’t met you yet, say hey to me in the halls sometime. I’ll probably tell you a completely irrelevant, useless story, I tend to do that a lot. As historian, I hope to build a collection of pictures from key moments this year, capturing all the great things we’ll do together. A little about me, I really like tea. I love art, but probably couldn’t draw to save my life. I cannot keep plants alive. I also cannot sing, never ask me to try for you. Something I can do, um, I make pretty good guacamole (and chai). Also, save the animals, don’t eat them |
