SBC Secretary Mariko TanakaHey guys my name is Mariko Tanaka and I’m your SBC Secretary! It’s been an honor serving as the 2020 board Secretary for the past three years and I’m very excited to be moving on to the school wide board! Outside of being on the student board, I am also on Lowell Varsity Volleyball, a part of Shield and Scroll, part of a volleyball club named Absolute VBC, as well as work at Peet’s Coffee. SBC Treasurer Michelle WongHi there you wonderfully random person scrolling through the internet! My name is Michelle Wong, and I’m your SBC treasurer! I’m positively ecstatic to be back and to serve you all for my third and final year on LSA, and to work with the accountant making budget spreadsheets to help make our year-round events all the more fun and maximize cost efficiency for our Lowell community.

Outside of SBC, I enjoy going out on long runs, exploring hidden parts of the city with our Lowell Cross Country team, (you can probably find me after school running around the field with my endorphins going absolutely haywire), eating bowls upon bowls of blueberries by the handful, or talking incomprehensibly fast, waving my hands in all sorts of lively directions whilst trying to make a point to a very confused person in front of me.
I realize how incredibly cheesy this sounds, but I really do love speaking with others and meeting new people, so if you have any questions or concerns, ideas you want implemented, or to simply have a casual conversation, feel free to message me on Facebook or Instagram, or to just say hi to me in the halls!
