MEET THE MEMBERS
2019 President Steven GongHiii! Hey! You!
I'm Steven Gong, 2019 President of the Lowell Student Association, and I'm here to bring you one last great year. Since you're probably here because you're curious about LSA, me, or my contact info, let's get into what I can provide! My goal is to oversee all activities for the Class of 2019 as well as assist SBC and the rest of LSA to the best of my ability. So what does that mean? Well..there's the Fall Rally, Late Night, Junior Prom, Junior Escape, Senior Prom, Winterball, Homecoming, and seuhg aiseyugv oai ahh there's A LOT of events, but seeing the smiles on those I serve is always worth it. Plus, free food haha. And don't worry, I'll be more than happy to shoot back a friendly "hello", so feel free to reach out to me! |
I also spearhead fundraising operations, contact organizations, create organized agendas, and speak on school issues on the behalf of nearly 3000 Lowell students on the Lowell School Site Council as well as represent SFUSD on the PEEFCAC in conjunction with the Board of Education. Simply put, I'm here to provide a fun, smooth, and cherishable Lowell experience!
And if I was a cup of cold milk tea, leadership and representation of those I serve would just be one mouthful of boba.
I'm also the President of Breaker's Alliance, a hip-hop dance club at Lowell, where we basically learn how to be fidget spinners, aka breakdance. If you ever attend a Lowell dance while I'm around, chances are that guy in the middle of the dance circle is me :D I also lead the 2019 Spirit Committee as President. (I make the mixes too!!)
Trying to locate me? You can find me 8th block on the basketball courts with my Lowell Dragon Boat buddies, gettin' those gainzz. If not, I'm probably in the piano lab! And if you reaaally need to find me, you can always summon me sacrificing a cup of boba :) I hope you enjoy your year!
GO SEN19RS!

2019 Vice President Clarizzle AruinoHey! I'm Clarisse Aruino and I'm super excited to serve you as your Vice President for the fourth year in a row. Senior year is going to be super amazing and I hope you are all looking forward to some awesome events your last year of high school.
A bit about myself: I'm a Filipino American and I've grown up in San Francisco my whole life! I hold positions outside of LSA as well. A group of friends and I last year hosted San Francisco's first high school hackathon, Hack the Fog! We're super excited to bring it back this year (be on the lookout). I'm also apart of Byte Lab, Lowell's co-ed coding club. Aside from STEM I am also involved with student leadership in the Student Advisory Council. As a group of students consisting of representatives from all over SFUSD we help advise the Board of Education on issues concerning our peers. In my free time I enjoy reading and hanging out with friends. I'm really looking forward to an awesome year! Let's go seniors! linkedin: linkedin.com/in/clarissearuino email: [email protected] |
2019 Secretary Sabrina LuHey 2019
This year will mark my last year as secretary! These past three years have been AMAZING & I guarantee you that the fourth year will be even better. My board and I have a lot of stuff planned out to make our senior year memeorable so for those who have never came out to any of our events, you better come this time because where else are you going to get “THAT” high school experience? |
We work super hard to get things done! It’s insane. I mean, teachers don’t plan out our events, do they?
If you want to know what we each do individually or as a board, please ask us! Stop me in the hallway if you have questions about anything or if you want to start a conversation. I’m open to anything and everything.
Time is ticking & before you know it, it’s graduation day. We can make it through. Work hard and it’ll pay off.
Good luck everyone!

2019 Treasurer Kristen TamHi guys! My name is Kristen and I am our 2019 class treasurer! Besides counting and keeping track of our money (super fun) I love nature and getting outside. I enjoy running, playing sports, hiking, biking (most things that involve physical activity), making cards for people, and traveling (especially to Kauai)! I like eating salads and healthy things like that, but also have a weak spot for pastries :) I am an environmental nut (and so if I ask you to sort your waste instead of just dumping it in the trash, do not be alarmed, I just want to help spread awareness and try to make our Lowell community more environmentally friendly). As you can see, I have a lot to say about myself, but also love talking to, and getting to know others, so please say hi! I can’t wait to meet more of our grade as time goes on and am excited for the events we have planned for y’all!

2019 Historian Allica SantosHola mi amigos!!! My name is Allica Santos. I highly dislike spicy food and my favorite color is red. I was born in the Philippines and went to school there for seven years then I moved to U.S.A in 2008. I am part of student government as 2019 Historian. This will be my second year at LSA. My role in LSA is to capture every moment of the 2019 graduating class from dances, rallies, and extra events so that 2019 class can have a recap of the wonderful 4 years spent in Lowell High School. My hobby is photography, I love being able to express my point of view through photographs. Heading to my senior year I finally found what I want to be in the future, I am determined to be a Nurse Midwife. Growing up I always loved interacting with little children and throughout my high school year, I learned that I am also interested in how the body works. I am a very adventurous and curious person that loves to explore. Also, I’m very outgoing and open so if you ever need help or need an advice just find me at the cave or email me at [email protected]!

2019 Public Relations Hanley TranHiii guys! It’s Hanley, your new 2019 Senior Board Public Relations! It’s going to be my first year on the board and I’m so excited to plan and promote our events (look out for posters and flyers in the hallways)!
I love design and painting, mostly through Lowell Technical Theater. If you ever need me, you can usually find me in the auditorium working on our plays and musical productions! Outside of theater, I love chilling with friends, sleeping, cooking, and making coffee. I’m always happy to talk about these things (and other topics too) so don’t be a stranger in the hallways! It’s going to be our senior year so lets make it a good one! :) Email: [email protected] Facebook: Hanley Tran Instagram: @tranley |
