MEET THE MEMBERS
2021 President Minyi TanHello, I’m Minyi Tan and I’m your 2021 class President! This is my second year on the board and I’m delighted to be elected again. Outside of being on the school board, I am also on the Lowell Varsity Flag Football team. One of my favorite things to do with my friends are trying new food places! I love all kinds of food (but cheese!) I consider myself pretty tall for an asian (5’7 1/2) so if guys ever want to find me, just look up. In my free time, I love binge watching old netflix shows such as Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, Friends, and the Fosters. If you ever see me in the halls or around campus, please don’t hesitate to say hello. I promise I don’t bite LOL.

2021 Vice President Jessica YuHey guys! My name’s Jessi and I’m excited to serve as your vice president. I know Lowell can be intense but we, as a board, hope to fulfill all your needs, ensuring you have a smooth and enjoyable sophomore year. If you know me you probably also know that I quote vines religiously. However, unlike vine, my school spirit will not die. When I’m not on that academic grind, I’m usually at softball practice or at club meetings. I love almost all the fantasy and sci-fi series you can think of but I don’t think I’ve ever loved anything as much as I love Harry Potter. My other passion is wrapped food. I love food that is wrapped and/or sandwiched. You can usually always find me at school but if you need to contact me ASAP, my email is @jessihty or any social media platform. Slide in my DMs, I swear I reply faster than your mans. But seriously if there’s ever a time where you need to talk, I practically live at Lowell. Or, at the very least, I’ll send you away with some wholesome memes.

2021 Secretary Viviana OjedaHi friends! My name’s Viviana Ojeda, but you can call me Viv :) I’m super excited to be your LSA 2021 Secretary this year! If you know me, you know that I love seeing a smile on people’s faces! We’re all one big family at LSA, so even though my job as secretary might seem as simple as taking notes, don’t be afraid to stop me in the halls to ask questions or even just to say hi! 2021 Treasurer Kenneth GonHi! My name is Kenneth Gon, but you can just call me Kenny. I have been elected as your 2021 Class Treasurer. As treasurer my role is to create a budget for our class, along with creating cool fundraisers. I hope to make our sophomore year very fun and exciting.
My favorite things to do are playing baseball and video games. After school I’ll most likely be practicing baseball with my friends at Lowell or my team the Ball Club Bruins. 2021 Historian Ivy ZipHey guys! My name is Ivy Zip and I’m your 2021 historian. My job as historian is to capture all the moments at school events like rallies, dances, and more. I’ve always loved being on student council and am so excited to be a part of it this year.
Outside of student council, I am on the varsity softball team here at Lowell. In my free time I watch tons of movies and read loads of books. I am an avid photographer and a huge nerd. 2021 Public Relations Emmanuel ChingMy name is Emmanuel Ching, and I’m your 2021 Class Public Relations Officer! I’m so excited to serve a second year on the board, and I’m really excited for this school year! Aside from making posters and flyers (which is really fun), I love lots of really random things. First of all, I love boba. Boba in drinks. Boba in desserts. Boba in (almost) anything. It’s good stuff. I also love plants. Like have you seen the plant all over Instagram and Pinterest with splits in its leaves? They look great, but owning one of ‘em feels even better, trust me. I love plants, and if you even need advice or help with your plants (because who doesn’t?) feel free to ask me! Finally, I love watching crime shows. If I’m at home, I’m probably watching Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, any of the NCIS shows, and Criminal Minds.
Anyway, I am so excited for this coming school year, and aside from being able to say “Hey, Sophomores!” instead of “Hey, Freshmen!”, I’m excited for the many things we have for y’all!
