Save the Wildlife is a club formed by students who are passionate about wildlife and our environment. Every day deforestation and desertification is occurring due to demand for more and more resources. As a result, animals are going extinct and becoming endangered due to habitat loss, pollution, and plastics. There is only one Earth so we need to take measures to protect and preserve the organisms we coexist with.
With that said, we need to take action and that starts with us making a decision. Our club will spread awareness through our community and start fundraisers to support worldwide conservation organizations. We will emphasize how it is imperative to start making a difference as many organisms are at risk of being extinct. Due to distance learning, we will have meetings through zoom, and our meetings will be much briefer and would not be as often as last year. We still hold spreading awareness as one of our main focuses. We will be doing other activities rather than doing bake sales to raise money for organizations. We hope you will join us in making a difference for our planet! We meet twice a month on Wednesdays at 3:45!
