Update #2

With the start of the new 2014-2015 year our work has started to come into fruition! With major renovations happening in the main building, the girls restroom on the first floor is undergoing a huge remodeling and extension to accommodate a larger space as well as more stalls. This project will take a significant amount of time to implement, but is a massively funded start.

This is hopefully just the beginning! Thank you for all the responses and feedback.

Update #1

We are so happy to announce our new project for the upcoming year: BATHROOM RENOVATIONS!!!

As we were planning Winterball, we remembered how we really wanted to make changes and help improve Lowell. Certain matters are out of our control, for example the school schedule or buying new textbooks for every class... but there are things we can change! So we set up a poll to get input from YOU GUYS! The votes are in:
Picture
The votes showed a that the majority of the student body wants us to improve the bathrooms!

This is only the first of many projects to come, so we will be putting out more polls or even take up the second place winner for the next project!

As of now, we are budgeting and figuring out exactly how much money we will need to raise to make each bathroom clean and beautiful (aka no more booty juice smell).

What we want for EACH bathroom:
1. New mirrors - to check yourself out in the morning (right right?)
2. Air fresheners - to get rid of the booty juice smell that has somehow become a permanent stench
3. New paint coat - no more murder mystery paint color (I feel like I'm walking into an alley when I pee, do you?!?!?). Perhaps a cute scenic painting of the beach while you do your business, so you can relieve stress and feel like you're resting on the beach at the same time (does that even make sense?).

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
The wonderful Lowell Alumni Association contacted me the other day and said they are really interested in our project, and are willing to put in some money! They also told us to really aim big, so we may even look into doing COMPLETE renovations with the bathrooms, so perhaps re-tiling everything, new toilets...who knows!

We are so excited to be starting this project, and we hope you are too! Our goal by the end of the year is to have an attendant for each bathroom to hand towels after you wash  your hands next to exotic orchids. Nice background music will play as you drop the kids off at the pool, and then you can rest on a nice white leather couch.

JUST KIDDING, although that would be really rad.

We are aiming to have clean, great smelling, happier bathrooms. Which, compared to the condition of the bathrooms now, already sounds like a miracle.

-TA TA FOR NOW
XOXO
