Trophies

[UPDATE: HAPPENING!]
Who doesn't like to receive a reward after winning a competition? If this idea were to be put into effect then the winners of the games during the Fall rally would receive a small trophy. After the rally is over, the class with the most wins in rally games will win the sweepstakes trophy. All of this is then tallied into the overall performance of their Spirit Committee, and the winning class will receive the Spirit Cup.  The Spirit Cup will then have the winning class engraved onto the plaque. For a whole week, this trophy will be on display in the main office. Aside from participating in the rally games, one special trophy will be awarded to the most outstanding member of each grade's Spirit Committee.

In the spirit of Lowell (education and frugality), would the trophy be the Golden Textbook, with each of the winners written in the front of the book like a normal textbook?

It is much, much easier to display and store a wall plaque instead of a free standing trophy, as a trophy requires table space and is easily broken. Wall plaques can be kept and dispayed by the owner for many years in their home or office.
