Serving as LSA2026 President for the past two years, I have learned a lot and hope to build on many successes like our recent bonding event, Sophomore Slumber, to make our junior year the most memorable one yet.
I’m looking forward to hosting Opportunity Fairs and College Events to ensure everyone has access to many helpful resources. Also, more successful fundraisers so that we can throw out super cool blue merch and sunglasses at rallies.

My name is Leona Cyster (pronounced like sister), your current LSA 2026 Vice President. I am running to be your vice president again this year. In addition to my experience on the board, I possess a variety of other leadership capabilities, such as co-founding and serving as the executive manager of Project Warmth, a youth-led nonprofit organization that focuses on aiding to people confronted with health and financial disparities, founding and leading the Creative Writing Club and the Piano Tutoring Club throughout middle school, as well as engaging in many extracurricular activities at Lowell including the dragon boat team, the Red Cross Club and the Hapa Club. I, Oliver Chiu, am running to be the Vice President of the 2024-2025 Junior year. Striving for success I vow to lead and maintain the integrity of LSA. I have shown dedication to many clubs as well as sports. Becoming the president of the Red Cross, one of the biggest clubs at Lowell has equipped me with the skills to lead. Being a part of the Board for two years, I have proven to be capable of leading 200+ members. Going further, I joined the Red Cross youth board, serving as blood services coordinator for the entire Westbay managing vital blood drives in ways to give back to my community. In addition, by joining boys lacrosse I learned to value, discipline, commitment, and people around me. Serving as VP I aspire to not only create the most engaging events possible but also lead by example for the 2026 class.

From working on the DIY Club board to Lowell KOEX and the Yearbook Club, I put my best foot forward to contribute to our Lowell Community.
- Collaboration/Experience: As your current LSA 2026 Secretary, I’ve enjoyed and worked well with the board planning fundraisers and class bonding events. I’ve also familiarized myself with our note-taking system and will ensure the smoothest transition to our upcoming year.
- Organization: As a Dance Teacher’s Assistant, I manage the teacher’s binder, take attendance, demonstrate, and substitute when they’re absent.

My passion for managing money stems from first grade, when my parents allowed me to have an allowance to buy small goods. This taught me a valuable lesson about saving money for my wants and needs.
