Hello Class of 2027!
I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for re-election as your Sophomore President. Serving as your President this past year has been a privilege, and I am eager to continue our journey together. As your current President, I've been deeply involved in our community as a PTSA member, Red Cross volunteer, Peer Mentoring, Debate, and other management positions. My commitment to service and leadership is unwavering. In the upcoming term, my goals remain consistent: to expand our roster of events, establish JPROM and Escape Committees, and maintain the continuity of exclusive C'2027 merchandise. I remain loyal to my promise to ensure equity and inclusion for all and foster even more class spirit. I am grateful for your past support and humbly seek your vote once again. Together, let's continue to make our class shine. I look forward to serving in sophomore year Thank you, Riley Chon |
Lowell has almost everything someone could ask for in a highschool, but there’s one thing that's missing: a great student culture. My name is Taewon Kang, and as your 2027 class president, I would do anything in my power to encourage student involvement, outside of the seven hours that we are in class. With my various experience in leadership, such as in clubs such as debate, marine biology, chess club, and more, I believe that I have the experience to advocate for even more memorable school events and activities. I can make this dream a reality with your vote. So don't forget to vote Taewon Kang!

Hello Freshmen! My name is Chiara Andrichak, and I’m running to be your next LSA 2027 Vice President. As we transition into our sophomore year at Lowell, it really feels like time is flying. To stay successful in the upcoming school year, we need a class board that provides stable leadership and proper representation as we grow. With my academic, athletic, and leadership background, I believe that I can help us achieve that. As a versatile leader with a wide variety of experience, I will be prepared for any jobs thrown at me. I can connect you with the resources you’ll need to succeed and programs to help you thrive. However, highschool is also the place to build relationships, and I look forward to organizing events that establish community in our class. As we approach election week, remember to vote Chiara as your next Vice President!

Hey Guy! I'm Anna Le. I am running for the position of secretary for the year of 2024 and let me tell you a little bit about myself. So I am a diligent and hard worker who is very organized when it comes to taking notes and organizing paperwork. I have done many volunteering throughout my elementary and middle school life that includes helping out elderly , experienced being a manager for various sports, helping out in passing food for homelessness, and tutoring lowerclassmen to learn how to read and write. Hey Class of ‘27! My name is Mikayla Liu and I’m running to be your LSA 2027 Secretary. As sophomores I know we all want to cram the most fun in before the junior year that everyone knows (and dreads). It’s a time to pick exciting classes, join new clubs, and work towards new goals. While you all are enjoying the sophomore experience, my goal is to work with the class board behind the scenes to do the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to! I have the organization, time management, and the determination to help our class have the best sophomore experience. Don’t forget to vote for Mikayla as your LSA 2027 secretary on the week of 5/6!!

Hello everyone! My name is Genevieve Tran, and I am one of the many qualified candidates running for the position of LSA Secretary. As you guys know, the role of secretary requires a high level of writing proficiency - something that I have to offer. I am the author of an original novel, I have spent over four years attending a creative writing program, I was a member of my middle school’s newspaper club and all my volunteer work involved working as an assistant for a school secretary, meaning I am familiar with the responsibilities of one. My experience at Lowell has been nothing but fun and memorable, thanks to the diligent efforts of the Lowell Student Association (LSA) in organizing school events, such as mixers, rallies, etc. I am eager to contribute to this legacy and create even more unforgettable experiences for the upcoming sophomores.

Hello everyone, I am Simone Velger Aurelio, and I'm running to be the next LSA 2027 Treasurer. I have gained a lot of leadership experience, which can easily translate to my success as treasurer. I have experience from 2 years of student council and 2 year of leadership based classes. I was able to organize multiple fundraisers, such as a bake sale and a school-wide dance to fundraise for our 8th grade graduation, as well as a school fundraiser for Ukraine. As your treasurer, I hope to use these skills and experiences to organize many more fundraising opportunities in order to have many more exciting class events.

Hey guys! I’m Emily Ma and I’m running to be your sophomore LSA ‘27 Public Relations. If you didn’t know already, I’m the current Public Relations so I am already familliar with how Lowell Student Association works. In the past few months, I’ve been updating our board instagram with graphics, helping with organizing class apparel, and designing anything you’ve seen from LSA 2027. Outside of LSA, I am extremely passionate about art and design. For a total of 87 hours, I’ve been spending my winter, spring breaks as an art camp intern teaching kids from ages 7-12 how to oil paint. My experience with art proves to help me with my creativity as a PR. Remember to vote the week of May 6!

Hi incoming sophomores!! I’m Celine Chen and I am running to be your LSA 2027 Public Relations! The main reason you should vote for me is because of my artistic ability! I’ve taken art classes for over 8 years, I can both paint and draw. I have over 25+ hours in an internship for digital designs, and have plenty of experience in making my own designs. I was in the student council for my middle school and took charge of the making of all the posters and hosted many events. Over the past year, I’ve done paid internships and worked jobs to exercise my leadership skills. I am also involved with Lowell, being part of the JV volleyball team and Varsity softball team. I’m super social, and willing to accept criticism and change myself to become a better person, and I’m always open for suggestions!! Thank you and good luck!

Hello! My name is Sasha and I’m running to be your LSA 2027 historian! The main reason I’m running is because I love taking photos and I love meeting new people. If elected I want to be a person that you can feel comfortable talking to whether that’s about photos, recommendations for LSA, or about anything else! In middle school, I was elected president of our student council so I’m already familiar with the structure and environment of a class board. I also have lots of experience using a digital camera so I know I can provide you all with great photos. I really just want to be able to make sophomore year the best for YOU! Thanks for reading and don’t forget to vote!
